Star Trac products are supported throughout
the United States by our network of certified service providers.
Product installation, preventive maintenance programs and
professional repair services are available through these Providers,
who are trained by Star Trac in the maintenance of our treadmills,
bikes, Natural Runners and other products.
Star Trac manages all warranty service work through our Technical
Support Center: From the moment of initial contact, we coordinate
the dispatch of any required repair parts, schedule field
service, provide technical assistance as required to the service
technician, and then follow up to ensure that the repair was
completed satisfactorily.
To ensure that all customers have access to competent service
support, Star Trac establishes agreements with qualified service
contractors as follows:
Star Trac Primary Service Provider
Meets Star Trac’s most stringent requirements for technical
capabilities and business operations, and possesses a high
level of resources and experience to serve customers. Employs
at least one Star Trac-certified technician for every 100
units in the provider’s territory. Maintains standard
business hours, providing customers with direct access via
telephone. Carries ample stock of Star Trac repair parts.
The Primary Provider receives a majority of the Star Trac
warranty work in the territory as a result of capability,
willingness to invest in parts stock and commit to factory
training.
Star Trac Authorized Service Provider
Authorized Service Providers may be service companies or individuals
that have demonstrated to Star Trac the capability and commitment
to provide users of Star Trac products with timely, competent
and professional service. Many providers in this category
began their affiliation with Star Trac through customer referral.
All service providers have direct access to Star Trac technical
support services and are required to support Star Trac’s
48-hour on-site response policy. Star Trac specifies that
providers must use only genuine Star Trac replacement parts.
